I love this quote. Maybe I am feeling extra mushy and sentimental since Valentine’s Day is coming up, but I have a lot of love quotes saved on my phone! This one rings so true: when I first met my husband, I had no idea he would become my whole world. It’s odd to think about all the years before I even knew he existed, but they were important years, helping me grow and become the person who would love him like he deserves, appreciate all that he does, and enjoy being treated like royalty by him.
Sometimes I wish we would have met sooner, but maybe we wouldn’t have been ready. Maybe having all the wrong relationships, being with the wrong people, was preparation for discovering each other and knowing in an instant what we had found.
After work, I am going to stop and pick up one of his presents. I will have to sneak it into the house. Luckily I carry a big tote bag to work!
It’s going to be a rainy Saturday here. I absolutely have to get into the yard on Sunday (I can’t stand weeds or the yard looking unkempt, now that it’s waking up from its winter coma), but tomorrow, I am already picturing a cozy, peaceful day, listening to the rain outside, and just enjoying being at his side.
