I was hesitant to step onto the scale Saturday morning, resigned to the fact that, at best, I would have a tiny loss and be nowhere the goal I had set of reaching the 150’s, after eight long, never-ending weeks in the 160s.
So I was shocked when I saw 159.8 on the scale!
I got off the scale and back on, just to be sure. Yep, the blasted 160s were finally, finally gone! See ya! I won’t miss ya! I just barely made the 150’s, but by god, I am there, at last.
That means I have hit my mini-goal and earned my next weight loss reward, which I decided would be a cute pair of dragonfly earrings I had seen before and really liked. I had to order them online, so I can’t wait to get them.
This morning, my husband and I were snuggling in bed before the kids woke up. He said, “Your body feels amazing.” He asked if I am happy with where I am now, and I said, “Getting there.” He told me, “You’re already there.” I told him I will probably have to lose 10 to 20 more pounds to fit into all the smaller clothes in my closet, and he looked at me strangely and said, “Twenty more pounds?”
He doesn’t seem to think I need to lose any more weight. I don’t know if I want to lose 20 more pounds or not either, but I know I definitely want to lose at least 10 more. So I will tackle those 10 pounds, see how I feel and look, what fits and what doesn’t, and go from there.
I’m so happy for you! Congrats!!
