Official Starting Over Day

Call me an overachiever.  I could have caught myself when I had gained back 5 pounds, but that would have been taking the easy way out, now wouldn’t it?  And I could’ve slammed on the brakes after gaining 10 pounds, and most definitely at 15, but again, I’m not one to give up that easily!  Nope, not me.  I wait until I gain over 20 pounds to finally decide to do anything about it.  Guess I like a challenge.

*sigh* I weighed in on Saturday, and I expected a gain, but I honestly didn’t expect it to be as big as it was.  I am now up to 180 pounds, after getting down to 157 for the wedding in July.

Well, it is what it is.  I have an extra 20 pounds to tackle.

On Friday night, I tried the Country Heat workout, and it was a lot of fun.  My two stepdaughters joined me, and we tripped over each other, laughed at each other for missing dance steps, made fun of people in the workout, and maybe even learned a dance move or two.  We did another Country Heat workout on Saturday, after I went running that morning (3 miles, baby!), and then I did a weight training DVD yesterday.

Today is my official starting-over day!  I have a busy week, so I sat down with my calendar book and scheduled all my workouts.  Unfortunately at least 2-3 workouts this week need to be morning workouts, and that is going to be a struggle.  But that is the only way to fit them in, so I just need to get my butt out of bed and get it done.
